We ventured out with a great group of friends for a hike this February, in the midst of what felt like the longest winter ever. It was a beautiful day, and the sunset was truly spectacular. The colours on the lake, the conversation with friends, getting out in the fresh air, it was all so refreshing. This painting is inspired by that special moment of nature and community.
Original 24×24” acrylic painting by Sarah Lewke. Painted on gallery wrapped canvas with edges painted black, so no framing is needed.
Wired and ready to hang. Signed on front, labeled on back.
The Daydream Spring Collection
This series is a collection all about cherished moments in the Okanagan landscape. As an avid hiker, I find solace and inspiration in the wilderness of the Okanagan. In this series, I strive to recreate the fleeting moments that reveal themselves during my hikes, walks, and pauses in nature. The interplay of light and shadow, the vibrant hues of the flora, and the ever-changing skies become inspiration for this collection.
