This piece was a last minute addition to the series, a “problem child” painting that finally resolved to somehow feel so much like me. These hard-won paintings are always so gratifying to complete.
Original 24×24” acrylic painting by Sarah Lewke. Painted on gallery wrapped canvas with edges painted black, so no framing is needed.
Wired and ready to hang. Signed on front, labeled on back.
The Light Breaking Through Series
This painting is part of the Light Breaking Through Series; a celebration of the fleeting, precious winter light that occasionally graces our faces in the Okanagan. Winter can be heavy, and through making these pieces I’ve focused on the bright spots of joy that are sprinkled through our everyday lives.
